In the center of public attention was NOLL’s impact jet mill DemiNo®, a new generation of universal mills. Everyone’s eyes were drawn to our exhibit: DemiNo® 2250 L, the compact machine for versatile application in the food industry. Special feature: its innovative rotor in an exclusive, patented design specially developed for processing foodstuffs. Salt, sugar, coffee, roots or foliate plants… Our impact jet mill DemiNo®’s unique, multi-patented technology allows direct grinding of the fines particle size, with precise top cut – and without classifier! Even the processing of extremely abrasive materials up to Mohs 7 no longer requires additional air classifying.

DemiNo® stands for outstanding efficiency and cost-effectiveness not only in food processing. Its rotor and impact elements can be adapted to an amazing variety of product applications. Take impacts elements made of hard metal for abrasives like calcinized clay, zeolites, magnetite or charcoal.
DemiNo® is a sophisticated system solution designed for much more than fine grinding: creating innovative material characteristics for specific applications designed to our clients’ wishes. Among our projects taking off in the wake of POWTECH: fibre cutting «50 µm of cellulose and glass fibres as well as test series for graphite processing.

Generating new powder properties to enhance product value is our specialty. We regain precious materials in order to re-direct them into the productive cycle in further premium applications. Our clients’ focus at the trade fair: Smart processing of pyrolytic coke in tyre recycling.
Here, too, the desired product qualities and individual refinement objectives determine which processing systems are chosen: whether it’s impact jet mill DemiNo® – for coarse particle sizes –, or multifunctional opposed jet mill MultiNo M/S/M® for applications which require a fine grinding of «10 µm and, simultaneously, the separation of metal wires.
