Eggersmann expands range for mineral processing

Eggersmann ROKTEC JC 900 - Optimal Pre-Crushing of Coarse and Hard Minerals - Processing of minerals over 250 MPa - Large feed area - Low operating weight - Comparatively high throughput

Shortly before IFAT Munich (4 to 7 May), Eggersmann is once again announcing the expansion of its machine portfolio for mineral processing. This time, the Eggersmann ROKTEC JC 900 jaw crusher was presented. At the same time, the Eggersmann IMPAKTOR 1000 was also added to the range.

Jaw crusher for efficient primary treatment

”We already sell twin shaft shredders that can also be used as crushers and, since October 2025, an impact crusher, so adding a jaw crusher was our next strategic aim,” explains Managing Director Pascal Petermann. ”After all, we wanted to offer our customers a machine for the professional processing of minerals above 250 MPa as well.” The machine weighs 30 tonnes and, depending on the application, promises a throughput of up to 170 tonnes per hour, whereby the typical principle with one vibrating and one fixed jaw guarantees processing with low wear. This makes the ROKTEC JC 900 particularly suitable as a primary crusher for demanding materials. Petermann adds: ”By combining our Eggersmann ROKTEC JC 900 with the Eggersmann ROKTEC IC 1000 impact crusher, our customers can put together a mobile processing line with maximum efficiency.” The use of a jaw crusher with a downstream impact crusher is a proven approach in the industry. The low-wear jaw crusher pre-processes the still very large material, while the more precise impact crusher subsequently produces a homogeneous end product. This is particularly important when producing substitute building material from rubble, as the cubically shaped end product from the impact crusher can be compacted particularly well in carrier layers. However, the ROKTEC JC 900 can be used not only for recycling building materials such as concrete, reinforced concrete or broken bricks, but also for processing natural stone or coal.

Same concept for the same efficiency

Apart from the different crushing system, the Eggersmann ROKTEC JC 900 jaw crusher is similar to the ROKTEC IC 1000 in many respects: for example, it also has a pre-screen for removing fines before the crushing process, including an optional side discharge conveyor. To optimise the crushing process, the wide feed area is equipped as standard with a conveyor chute including adjustable feed speed and automatic material dosing. The amount of material fed into the crushing chamber is also monitored automatically. The crushing gap can be adjusted between 40 and 140 mm as required, so that end products from 0 to 70 mm are possible in the smallest case and from 0 to 250 mm in the largest case. A protective device prevents the escape of chipped parts.

There is also a range of options for customising the machine to a specific input material. For example, the jaw crusher for processing reinforced concrete can be equipped with an iron bender for dealing with the reinforcements. There is also the option of adding an overbelt magnet to remove the reinforcements – the distance to the belt and the discharge side can be freely selected. ”The range of solutions is broad and extends from dust suppression and belt scales with and without digital data transmission to weather protection for the operator. This means that everyone can put together the machine of their choice,” adds Petermann.

Eggersmann IMPAKTOR 1000

At the same time, after more than a year of successful cooperation with Norbert Hammel, an expansion of the current business relationship was announced. From now on, customers will also be able to purchase the Eggersmann IMPAKTOR 1000. ”The past few months have shown us the great potential of our close cooperation. We are delighted that we are now strengthening it with another machine.” Eggersmann IMPKATOR GmbH was founded at the beginning of 2025 and initially only offered the Eggersmann IMPAKTOR 250 through a licence deal with Norbert Hammel. This was quickly followed by many other solutions, such as an innovative primary shredder or a low-cost trommel screen.
