Modular Metal Separation
Modular Metal Separation
The German based interVIB GmbH is delivering ready to start modules for metal separation. A basic module consists a Vibratory Trough Conveyor type TCV and selectively a magnetic drum type MD or a magnetic overbelt conveyor type MA, including the complete support structure. Each module is designed and built to the specific application and the required space on customer’s site. The Vibratory Trough Conveyor TCV receives the conveying good from the up-stream equipment, e.g. a shredder, homogenizes the product flow and is spreading the material. This ensures easy separating of the metal pieces from the product stream. The Trough Conveyor can be equipped with bolted in wear plates, if needed furthermore with a rubber lining between the plates and the trough reducing the noise emission. The customer can choose between a magnetic overbelt conveyor MA or a magnetic drum MD, all sub-supplied by notable European manufacturers. Further components can be selected, as there

Innovative solutions for cooling tanks of the power industry Contact-free radar sensor for content level measurement detection in seawater tanks
Innovative solutions for cooling tanks of the power industry
Contact-free radar sensor for content level measurement detection in seawater tanks In Malaysia, a plant operator in the power generation field was looking for a smart solution for continuous level monitoring of its seawater tanks. To meet the challenges of space constraints and the salty atmosphere within the containers with robust accurate content detection, the NivoRadar® NR 3000 contact-free radar sensor with robust stainless steel housing was used. The radar sensor works with a high-frequency 78 GHz signal, which is emitted with a very narrow beam of only 4°, reflected by the sea water and received again by the sensor. The frequency difference, which is directly proportional to the distance, is then further processed and output as a fill level signal. In order to properly position the radar within the seawater tanks so as to ensure accurate level monitoring, a special housing construction was designed in which the device was installed. The NivoRadar® can easily be combined with the Nivotec® visualization system and offers a good combination

Certified level sensors for applications in desert areas Solutions for plants around the Persian Gulf
Certified level sensors for applications in desert areas
Solutions for plants around the Persian Gulf Along with several distributors Aiman Gayed, UWT Area Sales Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region, visited various plant operators around the Persian Gulf, who needed different level measurement technology to optimize their manufacturing processes. In particular, continuous level and point level measurement for storage and conveying processes as well as dosing, mixing, filling and drying was of great interest. The product portfolio with its many configuration options for different process conditions was presented for different industries. Among them the classic device Rotonivo®, a rotary paddle switch that has proven itself many times in difficult media detection and is also certified according to SIL 2 in addition to the current international approvals. In most of the regions where the measurement instrumentation was or will be used, there are desert areas and there is a predominantly dry, humid climate with high temperatures and a dusty environment.

What should actually be considered when purchasing a screening machine? As an expert for screening machines RHEWUM has an answer
What should actually be considered when purchasing a screening machine?
As an expert for screening machines RHEWUM has an answer First considerations in advance Before you contact potential suppliers, you should be clear about the general conditions for the new screening machine. Keep in mind that every increase in quality requirements leads to an increase in costs, as the required screen areas have to be increased. In production engineering, therefore, the basic principle is: as exact as necessary and as imprecise as possible. An often underestimated question is: Should the machine be planned into an existing building or is the building still to be erected? While directly driven screening machines hardly emit any vibrations and are therefore statically negligible, these must be taken into account with vibrating machines. The statics of the building must be adapted to the machine type and may become a cost driver. Experience has shown that vibrating screening machines at great building heights can cause lasting damage to weak structures. Furthermore, the height situation must often be taken into

Visit RHEWUM at the SOLIDS in Dortmund, Germany
The trade fair for granulate, powder and bulk solids technologies will take place at the Dortmund Exhibition Centre from June 24-25, 2020. SOLIDS is part of the international Solids european Series (SES), which also stops in Antwerp, Rotterdam, Zurich, Krakow and Russia. Parallel to the bulk solids fair the sixth edition of Recycling Technology opens its doors in April in the Dortmund exhibition halls. At this year`s SOLIDS 500 exhibitors will present their technologies and solutions for the processing, handling, storage, transport and analysis of powders, granules and bulk materials. As the leading business and innovation fair for bulk solids technologies, SOLIDS combines a first-class exhibition in four exhibition halls with an attractive supporting programme and numerous networking opportunities. The high-quality lecture program and guided tours additionally enhance this fair. You will find us in hall 6 at booth R04 with our mobile screening machine WA(U). There

Modern screening technologies to improve quality and efficiency RHEWUM presents solution for difficult screening tasks in the fertilizer industry.
Modern screening technologies to improve quality and efficiency
RHEWUM presents solution for difficult screening tasks in the fertilizer industry. Typical phosphate fertilizers have specifications that allow particle sizes between 2 mm and 4 or 5 mm. In addition, these products are often expected to have a quality of more than 90 percent, which means that only 10 percent of the particles may be outside the specialized range. On the other hand, phosphate fertiliser production plants have a production rate of several hundred tonnes per hour. Phosphate granulate tends to clog the screen meshes. If this occurs, production must be stopped to allow the meshes to be cleaned or replaced. The biggest challenge of a phosphate screening machine is therefore to obtain a high quality material with a high throughput while ensuring a low downtime for maintenance. Our solution - the WA(U) screening machine The concept of the Rhewum wa/WA(U) screening machine consists of directly excited screening meshes which are positioned at an angle to transport the material over the screen. The whole machine housing does not move while the
