JCC-S heavy duty elevator buckets

4B GROUP Expands Heavy Duty Jumbo Elevator Bucket Line

The new 20x10 inch size addition offers even greater versatility and efficiency for a wide range of material handling applications.

4B GROUP Launches New Jumbo Elevator Bucket Size

4B GROUP is excited to expand its Jumbo elevator bucket line (type JCC-S) to include a new 20x10 inch size, increasing versatility and efficiency for material handling applications. Roger Bruère of 4B’s Material Handling Division states that Jumbo products are considered the most efficient and durable elevator buckets available in the global market today. The new 20x10 option is ideal for high-throughput bucket elevator systems, grain loading port or train terminals, or high-wear applications where the elevator is feeding on the downside or moving abrasive products. This addition brings the Jumbo CC-S elevator bucket range to seven different sizes, offering greater flexibility for various processing needs.

Features and Benefits of the Jumbo 20x10

Part of 4B’s “High Efficiency” range, the Jumbo 20x10 elevator bucket offers superior abrasion resistance and durability due to its thickest corners, front face, and back wall. Its wingless design and tapered bottom deliver extremely efficient fill and discharge. Jumbo series buckets are also designed to nest for reduced freight and storage costs. At water level +10%, the capacity of the 20x10 is 18.68 Litres, making 700t/hr easily attainable with a single row. When installed in Low Profile configuration, 816t/hr can be achieved , and in a triple row configuration an impressive 2,448t/hr can be achieved.

Cost Savings and Efficiency with Jumbo 20x10

According to Bruère, the Jumbo 20x10 size requires fewer buckets to achieve more tonnes per hour and less labor to install them on the belt, translating to lower costs. Additionally, a narrower elevator leg casing can be used, allowing it to fit in tighter, more constrained spaces.

4B WDB83X Contact Bearing Temperature Sensors
WDB83x contact bearing sensors offer protection from overheating with built-in grease nipple, NC circuit, and PLC/monitor compatibility—simple, safe, reliable. The WDB83x series is a range of contact bearing temperature sensors designed to provide reliable over-temperature protection for bearings. Each sensor is manufactured to screw directly into the bearing housing for direct contact monitoring and is equipped with a built-in grease nipple, allowing for lubrication without the need to remove the sensor. The sensor includes a fixed two-core cable for easy connection to a monitoring device or junction box. As the wiring is not polarity sensitive, installation is simplified, and the cable can be extended in the field if needed. All sensors in the WDB83x series operate in a normally closed (NC) state, meaning the circuit remains closed under normal conditions. When the preset temperature limit is exceeded, the bimetal element opens the circuit to trigger an alarm. The circuit automatically resets once the temperature drops back below the reset threshold. These sensors are primarily used for over-temperature protection in

Rotary Level Indicators - RG4 Series High Temp Version Now Available
RG4 High Temp Level Sensor (+200°C) is ATEX Zone 20/21 approved, easy to install, versatile, and ensures safety in explosive dust environments. The RG Series Level Sensors have been designed to indicate the presence or absence of bulk materials such as grains, pellets, chemicals, wood chips and other powders. The detection of material is achieved by a rotating paddle. If material impedes the rotation of the paddle, the motor topples of its axis and triggers an alarm. The RG Series has a variety of compatible paddles which offer the ability to detect a wide range of products. Specifications * Operating Temp +200°C. * ATEX approved for Zone 20/21 * Easy to install. Specific tools or settings are not required. * Extremely versatile. * Provides the highest standard of safety in the presence of potentially explosive dusts/powders. * Probe can be adapted to the material monitored thanks to the wide range of paddles available. Visit the 4B website for more information on the RG4 High Temp Level Sensor.

4B IE-GuardFlex with DHMS – Distributed Hazard Monitoring Solution
4B Group’s new IE-GuardFlex for DHMS uses advanced Ethernet to connect and monitor sensors across machines, initiating shutdowns when risks are detected. 4B Group proudly announces the launch of their Distributed Hazard Monitoring Solution (DHMS) featuring the IE-GuardFlex. Leveraging advanced industrial Ethernet technology, the IE-GuardFlex control unit seamlessly connects and monitors sensors across multiple machines using 4B’s state-of-the-art IE-Node technology. This robust system can be configured for multiple machines, IE-Nodes, and sensors, directly interfacing with machine control centres to initiate shutdowns upon detecting potential risks. Ideal for central control rooms and ”non-hazardous areas,” the IE-GuardFlex connects to IE-Nodes in ”at-risk zones” via industrial CAT6 Ethernet cables. Monitored machinery includes bucket elevators, enclosed and open conveyors, chain conveyors, rollers, and more. ATEX-certified sensors connected to local IE-Nodes monitor critical conditions like belt slip (SlipSwitch, Milli-Speed), belt misalignment (TouchSwitch, Bulldog), bearing temperatures (ADB, Milli-Temp),
