“Fluidised soil” is increasingly important, not least as a result of new developments and progress in machine technology. The 3‑mtbc starscreen from Backers is used for 3 fraction screening. Retrofitted with a container for binder, the 3‑mtbc starscreen can be used as a screening and mixing machine and to produce fluidised soil. Water is added to the concrete mixer in measured quantities when the machine is filled. For sticky and clayey soils, screening at 60 mm is recommended. The new 3‑mtcf starscreen can add water to the mixture of soil and compound in measured quantities and then mix them in the flow mixer. The system can therefore produce fluidised soil at up to 150 t/h. NEW A smaller version can also be used for screening and to produce fluidised soil.
