Vecoplan GmbH
Vecoplan develops, manufactures and supplies machines and systems for shredding, conveying and processing primary and secondary raw materials. Typical input materials are waste wood and biomass, commercial and municipal waste, plastics, refuse-derived fuels and data carriers. The range covers single-shaft shredders (VAZ for recyclables, VHZ for wood, VIZ High Performance, VHD Heavy Duty, VEZ for refuse-derived fuel, VDS for data carriers), twin-shaft shredders, shredder-mill combinations, pallet crushers and bag openers, drum and biomass chippers, and mobile shredders for refuse-derived fuel. Conveying technology completes the programme, with belt, chain and pipe conveyors and the matching plant periphery. Customers receive single machines or complete system solutions, supported from planning through production, delivery, installation and commissioning to maintenance. Founded in 1969, Vecoplan is based in Bad Marienberg in the Westerwald region of Germany. More than 80 percent of its output is exported, and subsidiaries operate at ten locations worldwide, among them North Carolina. Seventeen active patents protect in-house developments, including the ESC drive.
