Brokk DA GmbH Certified for Demolition Robot Training

Brokk DA GmbH has received VDBUM certification for its Brokk Academy, offering certified training for remote-controlled demolition robots – essential for dismantling, deconstruction, and recycling preparation.

Friedenweiler in the Black Forest – August 2026.

Brokk DA GmbH has received official certification from the VDBUM (Association of the Construction Industry, Environmental and Machine Technology) to offer its "Brokk Academy" for training specialists on remote-controlled demolition robots. According to the company, Brokk is the only provider offering this specialized qualification, thereby providing its customers with unique added value.

The courses combine practical hands-on training with theoretical content, covering safe machine operation, occupational safety, application options, and legal aspects for job site deployment.

"The certification is an important milestone for us," explains Nicole Bock, Management Assistant at Brokk DA GmbH. "It confirms our commitment not only to providing our customers with top-tier machinery, but also to equipping them with the necessary know-how and giving contractors legal certainty. With the Brokk Academy, we offer practical and unique training in the industry."

The Brokk Academy training courses in 79877 Friedenweiler take place annually in April and September and feature a one-week all-inclusive program.

Further details on the format as well as registration documents can be found on the Brokk website.

DARDA expands its Multi Cutter portfolio
The universal cutter now comes with a 350 mm opening width, for carriers up to 9 tons Blumberg, Germany. After Darda's new Multi Cutter MC300 was presented to the public at this year's bauma in Munich, the manufacturer of environmentally friendly, hydraulic demolition equipment showed the new Multi Tool at the RecyclingAKTIV in September in Karlsruhe also in a live test. Based on its little brother MC200, the MC300 weighs 290 kg and comes with a hefty cutting force of 60 tons. With an opening width of 350 mm, the Darda Multi Cutter MC300 offers maximum productivity for use with carriers from 2.5 to 9 tons. And in combination with a remote-controlled Brokk demolition robot B200 or B300, it becomes even more effective. Darda Multi Cutters generally stand for safe and efficient cutting of profiles, utility lines and cables in a variety of industries, including demolition, gutting, construction, recycling and the nuclear industry. In construction, for example, entire industrial halls and production facilities are cleared of pipes, steel girders and ventilation…

Three at one stroke: New concrete crushers from Darda!
INNOVATIVE AND EVEN MORE POWERFUL! Parallel to the launch of the new machines by Swedish demolition robot manufacturer BROKK, its subsidiary DARDA GmbH is presenting three new crusher models. They are designed as a low-noise, yet powerful attachment tool for the new demolition robot series and for mini excavators in the 2.5 to 9-ton class. DARDA is known worldwide as a specialist supplier of smaller concrete crushers. Despite its compact size and with only a mini excavator as carrier, DARDA crushers can easily keep up with the performance of larger and heavier models. The DARDA units are designed for high crushing power and low weight. The CC440, CC480 and CC580 crushers of the new series come in a modern, uniform design and set new standards in terms of ruggedness and performance. ”The focus of the new designs was on an even higher power/performance ratio, a uniform design and even greater ruggedness, as well as new crushing tips for the two larger crushers,” says Engineering and Design Manager…

Core removal and demolition of a shopping center
DARDA attachments & BROKK demolition robots - ”Dreamteam” In the summer of 2016, the complete core removal and demolition of the ”Zeilgalerie” shopping center in the so-called ”Zeil”, one of the central shopping streets of Frankfurt am Main in Germany. For this purpose, several BROKK demolition robots as well as various attachments from DARDA GmbH were successfully used by contracting company ANTAL Abbruch & Baumanagement GmbH from Frankfurt. Several BROKK demolition robots and diverse DARDA attachment tools demonstrated their abilities in this prestigious project. The DARDA Multi Cutter MC200 proved to be a true cutting wonder: It cut pipes, cables, metal brackets and struts, air-conditioning ducts, steel supports, railings, installation rails, drywall frames and paneling. The steel shears from DARDA GmbH, Blumberg, really tore into the reinforced concrete elements, Holorib panels and steel frame. Due to the location of the Zeilgalerie between two well-visited department stores in which sales activities could…
