Early fire detection with infrared technology Fire protection in waste bunkers
Early fire detection with infrared technology
Fire protection in waste bunkers Since 2005, it has been prohibited in Germany to dispose of non-recyclable waste in landfills. As a result, waste incineration has now become the only way to treat household waste. Generally, after collection, and prior to the thermal treatment, the waste is temporarily stored in a bunker. It is this storage process that primarily causes an increased fire hazard. Spontaneous ignition or sparking on metal parts are just two ways of how a fire can start. However, waste bunkers are very difficult to monitor using conventional fire alarm systems. This is because the extremely dusty and humid environment often triggers false alarms or disables the detectors. In addition, most methods and systems only detect a hazard once an actual fire has already developed. The innovative PYROsmart early fire-detection system from the German provider ORGLMEISTER Infrarot-Systeme is much safer as it is able to detect hot spots in waste bunkers even before fire breaks out. This system comprises

MB presents the new MB-LS220.
The screening bucket for larger loaders and backhoes. Who came to the last edition of Bauma, has seen the world premiere of the latest MB model, the new screening bucket MB-LS220. The MB-LS220 is not simply a screening bucket, but the screening concept evolution: designed specifically for owners of loaders and backhoe loaders from 12 to 35 tons, which have great need to select waste material but until now, there wasn’t a solution available in the market. What are the user advantages? First of all a great flexibility, in fact, the new MB-LS220 allows the optimization of loaders and backhoe loaders, transforming them in a few minutes into an efficient mobile screening plant, able to process debris in all the process phases. As it does not need to operate over the heap of material, as otherwise required by other excavators screeners, the new MB-LS220, facilitates and speed the processing of the material on different sides of the same construction site. What are the applications? There are many applications

RHEWUM ScreenSpector App | New feature, new name, well-tried
The technical RHEWUM app has been renamed to „RHEWUM ScreenSpector” and offers operators o Already since 2014, the RHEWUM app supports its users during maintenance of their screening machines- simple, fast and free of charge. The app consists of the four following functions: 1. VibFlash The smartphone’s flash light generates a stroboscopic light with a predetermined frequency and thereby visually records and investigates the vibrations of the respective plant. This feature is only available for iOS so far. 2. MeshConverter The MeshConverter allows to convert screening mesh widths from S.I. units into US measurement units. Furthermore, this feature can convert mesh sizes into screen cuts. 3. VibSonic This feature uses the integrated microphone and records noise emissions of individual machines or plants. Compliance with noise level limits as well as functional capability can easily and quickly be inspected. 4. SizeChecker By means of the integrated camera this function measures and calculates the grain size distribution of
