TDR solution in ethanol Safe level measurement in ethanol tanks with guided wave radar
TDR solution in ethanol
Safe level measurement in ethanol tanks with guided wave radar For the storage processes of ethanol of a Swedish producer the guided wave radar for continuous level determination was implemented within several tanks. TDR sensors are easy to put into operation and deliver reliable measurement results even under extreme process conditions. Since the functional principle does not require any mechanically moving parts, a maintenance-free manufacturing process is ensured and system availability is increased. In addition, TDR sensors meet the highest safety standards, which makes them the technology of choice especially in the oil, gas and chemical sectors. With these capabilities, TDR sensors make a noticeable contribution to increasing the productivity of the plant. Robust sensor design that can be used in a variety of ways Radar technology has gained more and more importance over the past decades and has been continuously developed. The area of application now extends from simple installations to complex process vessels with a

The use of GKM screening machines within PET recycling
In the recycling process of PET bottles, a GKM vibration screening machine is used to clean the washing water of the PET flakes. A GKM tumbler screening machine is used for fractionating and dedusting the finished PET flakes. Raw materials from recycling The recycling of materials is becoming increasingly important due to the scarcity of raw materials and for the sake of environmental protection. This also includes recycling of PET. In recycling, waste products reintroduced a new production cycle, respectively, base materials become secondary raw materials. The materials produced in this way are referred to as recyclate or regenerate materials (source: Wikipedia). From 2025 on, non-refillable PET beverage bottles in the EU member states (regulation (EU) 2019/904) must contain at least 25% recycled plastic, so-called recyclate. Recycling of PET bottles In the recycling process of used for PET bottles, depending on the procedure, the labels and caps are sometimes removed in advance after that the bottles are sorted by color and then shredded. The next step is usually the washing of the crushed mass, afterwards dried and freed from final impurities. For this recycling process of PET bottles,

The Dutch National Test Centre Circular Plastics (NTCP) Trusts in Lindner Washtech’s Modular Washing System for the optimisation of various plastic streams Heerenveen (Netherlands), March 2022. Europe’s first independent testing and research centre with facilities on industrial scale, the NTCP (National Test centre Circular Plastics), in the Netherlands, founded in 2018, has set out to examine the behaviour of different plastics during sorting and washing. The goal is to optimise processes quantitatively, qualitatively and with more efficient energy use, in order to promote plastics recycling in line with the circular economy model. Dutch and foreign clients are already showing great interest in the testing options. ”With its modular design, Lindner Washtech’s plastic washing system, to be installed in mid-2022, will make a significant contribution to our research and the optimisation of various plastic streams,” says Martine Brandsma, director of the NTCP. Tucked away in Friesland, a northern Dutch province, lies the 50.000-strong community of Heerenveen. Since 2018, it has also been home to the National Test
