United for hope– supporting st. jude children’s hospital As part of our continued commitment to community service, UWT is proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Since its founding, St. Jude has tirelessly worked to treat children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, driven by the mission that “no child should die at the dawn of life.” When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, the hospital has made groundbreaking progress in research and treatment, offering free care to children and pushing the overall survival rate from 20% to over 80% within the U.S. Together for Hope and Healing Since the beginning, St. Jude has received enormous support from communities and partners all across the world.
