4B VIBMIL vibration sensor

VIBMIL vibration sensor for industrial environments

4B’s Vibmil Vibration Sensor (VIBMIL) is designed for continuous monitoring of vibration levels in industrial environments.
4B’s Vibmil Vibration Sensor (VIBMIL) is designed for continuous monitoring of vibration levels in industrial environments.

A current loop-powered accelerometer, VIBMIL delivers precise vibration RMS velocity readings through a 4-20 mA output. Encased in a robust stainless-steel enclosure with a 3/4” NPT thread for conduit connection, VIBMIL assures durability in the harshest industrial conditions.
For added versatility, it can be supplied with optional inbuilt NTC or PT100 temperature sensors.

Designed with ease of use in mind, the VIBMIL comes equipped with a female 1/4”-28 UNF mounting thread, allowing secure attachment using screws, studs, or mounting studs. Optional converters to M8 and M6 male threads provide additional flexibility.

Integration into control systems is seamless, thanks to the 2-wire, loop-powered accelerometer, providing linearized output from 4 – 20mA, proportional to the sensor’s measuring range.

The VIBMIL Vibration Sensor sets a new standard in industrial vibration monitoring, providing reliable and accurate data to optimize performance and ensure equipment longevity.

RG Series Rotary Paddle Level Indicators (ATEX) Easy to install, adaptable, versatile
RG Series Rotary Paddle Level Indicators (ATEX)
Easy to install, adaptable, versatile The RG Series Level Sensors have been designed to indicate the presence or absence of bulk materials such as grains, pellets, chemicals, wood chips and other powders. The detection of material is achieved by a rotating paddle. If material impedes the rotation of the paddle, the motor topples of its axis and triggers an alarm. The RG Series has a variety of compatible paddles which offer the ability to detect a wide range of products. The paddles are interchangeable, making the RG Sensors adaptable to different densities of measured materials. The sensors are customizable not only with paddles, but also with extensions and voltages. An easy to install instrument, the RG Series sensors do not require any calibration, maintenance or specific tool for their installation. The sensors are extremely versatile, and can be installed on tanks, hoppers, on walls or roofs of silos, in a vertical, horizontal or oblique position. Durable and reliable, the RG Series Sensors

Elevator handling recycled asphalt planings Elevator design for recycled asphalt planings (RAP). Recommending speed, power, shaft & casing sizes, and component specs (SPS steel buckets & NBR belting)
Elevator handling recycled asphalt planings
Elevator design for recycled asphalt planings (RAP). Recommending speed, power, shaft & casing sizes, and component specs (SPS steel buckets & NBR belting) Challenge Asphalt is made from a mixture of aggregates, binder and filler, and is commonly used in constructing and maintaining roads surfaces. When the surface layer of tarmacked areas is removed, the resulting waste material known as planings, can be recycled and reused. BG Europa Ltd approached 4B Braime requesting technical advice on the manufacture of a new bucket & belt elevator to be installed at an Asphalt plant in South Wales. Although familiar with bucket & chain elevators, the customer had no technical experience with buckets & belts so requested the expertise of 4B Engineers. The bucket elevator would elevate RAP (Recycled Asphalt Planings), and use a belt instead of chain, and standard 4B pressed buckets instead of fabricated buckets commonly used in the construction industry. 4B Braime were asked to provide a design proposal detailing suitable speed, power requirements, shaft & casing sizes, and component specifications to achieve the desired
