Pocket filter ensures a residual dust content of 1 mg/m³
Recycling of mineral materials proves to be economic and ecological. At the company MINERALplus from Gladbeck mineral dusty waste like ashes and reaction products from flue gas cleaning are processed to building materials. The recycled materials come back to the economic cycle and are used for road construction, cavity filling, underground or landfill construction. By using these materials large quantities of natural building materials like cement, lime or gypsum can be saved. Significant costs can be reduced. In short: recycling of mineral materials proves to be economic and ecological. But dusts that are partial toxic or breathing is hazardous to health, result from processing and handling the recycling materials. In order to protect health of employees, the company decided to award the order for a central filter unit of type InfaJet AJN to Infastaub. The pocket filter reduces the clean gas dust content below 1 mg/m³. A further order of a 2-stage filter was also awarded to Infastaub. The police filter is downstream the new pocket…

Dustfree shredding of electronic components
Major order with dedusting units completed Disused electronic components often contain valuable metals like gold and platinum or copper. Recyling of these reusable materials is proven to be worthwhile for economic reasons, but also for environmental reasons. For example, 200 grams of gold can be recovered from one ton of old mobile phones. To obtain five grams of gold from a mine, one ton of ore needs to be moved. A central role in recycling processes have shredding plants. They break down the disposed devices into smallest parts. Filter plants are downstream these processes so that no substances hazardous to health are emitted to air. Because of the explosive shredding dust, the filters have to be designed for low residual dust content as well as with appropriate explosion protection measures. Infastaub has completed a major order for such a task. In detail six pocket filters type Infa-Mat were manufactured. They have a total air volume of 26,000 m³/h. The dust is collected at the receiving hopper of…
