Certified level sensors for applications in desert areas
Solutions for plants around the Persian Gulf Along with several distributors Aiman Gayed, UWT Area Sales Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region, visited various plant operators around the Persian Gulf, who needed different level measurement technology to optimize their manufacturing processes. In particular, continuous level and point level measurement for storage and conveying processes as well as dosing, mixing, filling and drying was of great interest.
The product portfolio with its many configuration options for different process conditions was presented for different industries. Among them the classic device Rotonivo®, a rotary paddle switch that has proven itself many times in difficult media detection and is also certified according to SIL 2 in addition to the current international approvals. In most of the regions where the measurement instrumentation was or will be used, there are desert areas and there is a predominantly dry, humid climate with high temperatures and a dusty environment.
