Compared to conventional water ring pumps, the GREIF-VELOX DryVac reduces energy consumption by up to 70%, and even when compared to double diaphragm pumps, energy savings of over 50% are achievable. With a motor output of just 6.5 kW, the DryVac significantly reduces operating costs.
A practical example: With an annual operating time of 8,000 hours and an average consumption of only 2.6 kW, the system can save up to €12,800 in energy costs per year—for example, during the bagging of silica.
Dry Operation Instead of Water
Resource-Saving and Low Maintenance. Developed in collaboration with Busch Vacuum Solutions, the GREIF-VELOX DryVac operates using a dry claw mechanism—completely without water, lubricants, or cooling fluids. The result: minimal wear, significantly reduced maintenance, and zero water consumption.

The pump also features an intelligent HMI control panel that provides full visibility of all process parameters and automatically reports faults in real time, ensuring full control with simple, user-friendly operation.
